There are very few udis left in armenia I’ve read somewhere its less than 200 speakers as of now. It’s a well known fact their language and culture is dying out, so why are we not doing anything about it for the few that live in armenia?

Why are there no gov/private funded initiatives for language and culture preservation? Why is this problem not being brought into focus?

Considering all the assimilation efforts targeted at us, I feel that we should do the exact opposite and not allow another indiginous culture to assimilate into ours but instead provide help and assistance for them to maintain their language and culture.

Are there at least some programs that focus on their culture? What can armenias do to raise more awareness on this?
