Our gas pressure started failing over the weekend. I have since been on the most enraging journey to try to get a technician out to fix it:

Monday: called at 9am and asked for a technician to come out. Customer service grilled me about my appliances and suggested my stove was broken. I told her no, and to send a technician anyway. Was told they would come between 9 and 5. They never came.

Tuesday: called at 9am and asked for a technician to come out. Was told they would come between 9 and 5. They never came.

Wednesday (now I am getting frustrated): called at 8:30am and asked for a technician to come out. Expressed my displeasure and concern about their customer service. Was told a technician would come before 1:30. They never came.

Thursday: called at 8am and asked for a technician to come out. Expressed my displeasure. Was told someone would come before 5. Got a call from a technician at 10:15. Said he was 10 minute out. He never showed. Called Washington gas back and they said that he just left because he couldn’t find parking. No notice, no call, just didn’t show up.

They spent 20 minutes talking to dispatch to try and see if he would go back. Not to better understand when he would return, to see if he would even do it???

I then spoke to a supervisor who hung up on me.

So I called back and spoke to another supervisor.

Overall I am so frustrated that my gas service is not working, they can’t send anyone out reliably, they can’t send me the name or number of the tech or give me a timeframe of when they are going to come. It’s an unacceptable way to conduct business.

Anyone have similar experiences? Have you been able to actually get Washington gas to do their job?
