Preface: This happened when i was living both at my dad’s house, and my mums. I would travel between them and stay at my dad’s every weekend. Every single time i stayed there, i would have the same encounter.

When i was a kid, my mum would tell me about an encounter she had at my dad’s house when i was about 7 or 8. Her and her friend tried to open a bedroom door, and it felt as if something was holding the handle closed. When her and her friend managed to open the door, it was pushed closed right back onto them. They said that it took both of them to push the door open, but the energy in that room felt ‘heavy.’ My mum and her friend felt sick, and they had to leave.

Eventually, i moved into that room and slept there every weekend for over 10 years. Every night, i could feel a heavy, bad energy that felt like it was smothering me every night. My bed was facing the door, and i would catch a glimpse of a shadow figure either right at the door or at the dresser just across from it. Eventually, I would refuse to stay in that room, and would stay in my brother’s room every night out of fear.

For reference, my dad was an archeologist and worked on both Nottingham Castle and unearthing the Nottingham Caves. He also had a massive collection of items he had dug up, including roman, celts, medieval ect, and would keep them displayed in his house. INCLUDING BONES.
