I’m not really sure if this is the right place to post this, but oh well…

My baby sister, who is two years old, used to love taking showers. Every few showers, I would be the one bathing her. About two months ago, she suddenly started hating showers, crying hysterically whenever she had to take one. But she never said why.

For the past few days, my mom has been telling me that she keeps waking up at night, crying that someone hit her. Until then, I thought it was just a toddler’s imagination or a nightmare.

An hour ago, I was giving her a shower. As always, she started crying, but then she suddenly got really calm. I tried singing to her and playing games, and she seemed to go along with it. While I was getting her dressed, she started pointing to the corner above the mirror, saying there was a monster. At first, I just told her there was nothing there and that she shouldn’t be scared, but she kept pointing and repeating it.

I started getting chills down my neck, like someone was there, but I tried to act as if nothing was wrong. I continued telling her stories and singing while helping her get dressed, trying to distract her, but she wouldn’t stop pointing and insisting there was a monster. That eerie feeling behind me kept getting heavier. In the end, I just hurried up, got her out of the bathroom, and closed the door behind me.

I’m still freaked out.
