One valid point that was brought up off-reddit was that, due to the way checkpoints work in this wing, it’s common to start the boss and /gg just to teleport everyone and respawn close by, so I asked Plastique for more accurate data:
These are the logs uploaded to wingman in the past 30 days
Fails | Successes | Winrate | |
---|---|---|---|
All Logs | 5617 | 2871 | 33.82 |
Greer below 90% HP | 3070 | 2871 | 48.32 |
Greer below 50% HP | 933 | 2871 | 75.47 |
Normal Mode | 3413 | 1189 | 25.83 |
Emboldened 1 | 1089 | 676 | 38.3 |
Emboldened 2 | 537 | 497 | 48.06 |
Emboldened 3 | 261 | 253 | 49.22 |
Emboldened 4 | 128 | 120 | 48.38 |
Emboldened 5 | 189 | 136 | 41.84 |
There are more ways to combine this data, but i think this is a somewhat good picture.
Yes, the data pool is incomplete because only the “higher end” uses wingman but exactly because of that you can imagine the winrate of groups that do not even use a tool like arcdps.
And to clarify one point in my previous post:
I’m not saying that Greer is too hard, I was in the RWF for Cerus and bashed my head against it when it was bugged with 160M HP, Greer is simply unfun and the changes proposed aim to making it more fun and possibily increase the winrate for other players.
