That’s it. My ex husband in the last visit with my daughter decided to express his opinion about the protection from abuse I have against him. He said “Your protection order is ridiculous” “You should not have contact with me - stop calling me” and then sent me an email saying I wasn’t being cordial today during exchange. Well, I never called him, The protection order is not against me and I recorder the whole situation. I know him and he thinks he is above the law.
Well, I get in contact with Partners for Peace and my therapist and everyone suggest me to report the no contact violation. I live in the country so the sheriff for my town comes to my house to talk to me and asks when/where it happened. Tells me I should have called 911 right there and women are always trying to get men in trouble. He says he would act just like my soon to be ex, because he was just expressing his opinion about the order and it’s HIS right!!! He ended up telling me my ex should be a good father since I agreed to one visit a week in mediation (I had to compromise!!!) and I should try for the sake of the kids. It was awful, I’ve been crying since that.
I guess I lose MY right to report so HE won’t lose his right to express his opinions and control me and abuse me emotionally. I am exhausted today 😭
