In all honesty, I feel like the new generation doesn’t respect Dizzee Rascal like they do with other MCs. I feel like he is the greatest MC to come out of the UK, the lack of recognition or respect he gets; I feel like is mainly due to his commercial music with Tongue N’ Cheek and The Fifth which is what most of us youngsters are most familiar with. I think if they took the time to actually listen to his older albums from 2003-2007, then I think there’d be a lot of changes in discussions regarding who’s the greatest or whatnot.
(I’m new to this, so I’m still trying to get used to it; apologies if this post isn’t up to par.)
