Hi all. WP and I have our first marriage counseling session in a couple days and I was wondering if anyone could share what to expect? It’s an 85 minute initial session (afterwards it will be 55 minute sessions). The counselor says on the website he uses the Gottman method which I’ve looked into a little.

WP and I are having ups and downs but the ups feel encouraging. I’m just trying to emotionally prepare for this session.
