The title basically. I get that if a short seller is shorting a company and that company files for bankruptcy, then the short seller makes big money. I mean that’s what I imagine happens. Whether that affects the price of GME would just be based on how much they make and how much they use to short GME, if that’s how they like to spend their time. But when it comes to baskets moving tends to be similar? I’m not even sure the ticker that made me think of this question is even in the “meme basket”. But if this stock was in a basket with GME would the price be affected, in theory? I ask in theory because a lot of the time things that “should” happen, don’t happen.
