I’m not sure if this is the right sub to ask the question, sorry if it’s not.
I (28F) am talking to a guy on Feeld. We’re meeting in person this Thursday and having sex is a possibility if we like each other - conversations have been going in that direction.
Now I’m new in the world of online dating so I’m a bit nervous already. But I have a rare ‘condition’ called kosmemophobia. Basically, jewelry triggers me like some people are triggered by spiders - I want to stay away from it and it disgusts me. Sleeping with someone who wears jewelry is a nightmare scenario for me.
Should I tell him up front about this? On one hand, it benefits him if I find him as attractive as possible. On the other hand, I know it’s a rare condition and I am afraid he’ll think I’m a weirdo. I’m pretty normal, I would say, social, outgoing, not too bad looking, this is definitely my weirdest quirk. Would you find it weird if someone you had not met told you something like “hey, jewelry turns me off, please don’t wear it to our date?” This might be a silly question, thanks in advance!
