I got NextCloud set up a few weeks ago and tested it on my local network and it works just fine. The subdomain I set up points to my IP where it’s grabbed by NGINX Proxy Manager and redirects it to the actual NextCloud server.

However, I just get a network connection error whenever I try to connect remotely and I’m not sure what to do.

Any ideas on things I should check? I’ve been Googling for hours and have gotten nowhere.

I know it’s not a connection error from my domain to my home IP because I can ping it just fine and I see my home IP.

EDIT: Even when connected to my home network via WireGuard VPN I still get a connection error.
