Is it just for plot purposes so he isn’t too strong? Because he would’ve absolutely destroyed Doffy if he couldn’t run out. I can’t remember a time when another character other than Luffy used too much Haki. Perhaps this is brought up in Wano? I’m just now starting to read it.
