Kalego is a teacher from the Shounen “Welcome to Demon School Iruma kun!”(highly recommend if your looking for SOL-ish school life with a slower plot) some background information: He’s a teacher in well the Demon School Babyls, he’s strict and harsh. A teacher plenty of people wouldn’t like IRL to have.

Why do I think he’s the best teacher in recent Shounen? Well mainly looking at Battle Shounen… Kakashi, Gojo, and Aizawa rather stink as teachers, we’ve read the rants. You can look them up in the subreddit, yeah their respective fandoms except Gojo will defend them. But this is a subjective rant so eh.

Kalego’s presence in the first few arcs imo was somewhat weaker compared to the other teachers to the MC like Balam, he was the generally strict teacher who was harsh and reveled in making lessons harder. Like Movie Snape( Book Snape, was an ass and shouldn’t be teaching ).

Kalego was strict but fair as showcase during the Royal One acquisition arc (or how I like to call it Evil Cycle Iruma Arc), where he made a deal if they could get every faculty to sign he would sign to, which he did. A standout chapter would be Kalego’s visit where he personally visited each of his students after the exam and gave them pointers and highlights on how to improve their skills.

The next point I really don’t whether I should deduct this one or give it to him, during an incident where 3 of his students were getting attacked by a giant monster he let them take it for them to learn teamwork and only really intervened when necessary. He did teach but… It’s also negligence but I guess he had it under control being leaps and bounds stronger than the monster and had the ability to no diff it.

Harvest Festival Arc, he personally didn’t do much teaching in this arc but he did assign teachers who are better suited in teaching his students in specific fields than him. By personally watching them he managed to assign people who could improve whatever skill they had, which improve them by leaps and bounds and gave the MC a big power boost.

Music festival arc, he taught the MC how to play Piano. I really don’t know how to properly describe it. But overall I think some standout chapters from him are Naberius Kalego 13 hours final part and the most recent one.

Though he sometimes does get out shined by the MCs other Teacher Balam and Bachinko. I think he’s one of the few strict and harsh teachers done right.

(Also just please Iruma-kun really good manga, and the friendships and schooling bits are just top notch. Its what MHA thinks there friendship bonds are, you have a lot of dedicated chapters to just being friends and best of all? THE MOTHERFUCKING MC GOES ON DATES WITH THE MAIN GIRL AFTER EVERY ARC CONSISTENTLY)
