Great M&G with a new SB and we’re setting up a first intimate date. She’s Super-smart and seems like a wonderful person (a life worth investing in as the vets here would say). She agreed that we should both get tested before intimacy and was relieved that I brought it up. She didn’t ask for financial help with the test (I believe that she has health coverage at her college). I know that going in for a test (esp with blood draw) takes time: that’s like your whole morning. What do you say to telling her “Look, I really appreciate you getting tested. I know that’s time out of your day. Let me send you a gift (a few C-notes) for your time.”
