Would you buy a car that can’t be driven in the rain? Would you even buy a bicycle that you can’t get wet?
It boggles my mind that ANY battery powered vehicle (containing sensitive electronics) is released/sold with poor water resistance.
I completely understand that the entire industry is still evolving, but one area of production that definitely needs to become an industry standard is water resistance.
… on the topic of weather conditions, there should also be a push for some kind of battery cooling feature (even if offered as an option). Some who live in very hot climates face serious overheating issues that can lead to melted wires and potential fires.
