So I’m a new player and the person that got me into the game helped me revise a precon, I got the Sneak Attack deck and made it more of an unblockable rogues deck that has a couple creatures like Mortivore and Bonehoard to capitalize on the milling the commander and 3 other cards do in the deck. I don’t focus on milling, I use it as a resource for putting out a big boi or 2, and I focus on unblockable dmg.

Everyone in my play group (4-5 other people) HATES my deck, which I would kind of understand bc of the rogues, but it’s not because of the rogues. It’s bc of the mill. Why is that? I try explaining that milling in itself, statistically, doesn’t do much unless they scry or edit the top of the library somehow (which none do), or they tutor (which only 1 does and he’s the least mad bc he has some recursion). I am consistently talked over when I try to explain, but I just can’t see how it’s that bad. Am I wrong? There’s NO WAY I’m going to get someone by milling through their library, I simply don’t have enough mill for that. As far as I understand it, they’re just amgry bc they see what they’re missing, contrary to the cards on the bottom of the library which they don’t see. Ignoring the 2 effects I listed, doesn’t milling just change where the draw card is in the deck, while adding a resource for recusion? Am I wrong? What am I missing?
