These are complete noob questions, as I am one, and learning as I go.

I keep getting the error: “You’re speaking plain http to an ssl enabled server port”

I understand what the problem is, but I can’t figure out how to solve it. How do I force to use https? Apache keeps going to http.

When I try to validate the domain in the setup portion it gives me an error “domain does not point to this server or the reverse proxy is not configured.” But I’m using the domain to use the setup?

Also, when I try to go to: https://your-domain-that-points-to-this-server.tld:8443 it errors out. I have that port forwarded.

I have the subdomain pointed at the ip that the Nextcloud computer is on and have opened/forwarded 80,443,8443,3478

I swear I’ve tried to figure this out on my own. I’d appreciate any help!
