Original Title: The „New Normal“, or what people today are willing to accept from retail/fast food is sad. Ice cream machine down at McDonald‘s? Oh well. Can‘t get ahold of customer service on the phone? Happens. Grocery out of stock of all you want? Shrug. If no one cares, it‘s going to keep getting worse.

What really gets to me is when people get mad at me for expecting the bare minimum of quality, service, and selection. As if I‘m the issue. And no, I‘m not blaming the workers. I am a worker.
