For the longest time I thought [[Kelsien, the Plague]] was trash. That was until I saw someone play him, move to combat, and what do you know? He has vigilance. Instantly I realized why the card was more than just some guy.

Going over a few other cards that I thought were terrible I noticed that just a single keyword could make all the difference. Even [[Sun Droplet]] made sense once I noticed it wasn’t just your upkeep.

So what about y’all? Are there any cards that you thought were bad until you spotted the one or two words in its text box? Are there any cards that with a simple equipment or enchantment suddenly become absolute powerhouses?
