I went to my LGS for casual night Commander. Found a pod. Pre-game discussion I told everyone my deck is not CEDH, but it is quite tuned because I have been playing/building/upgrading with the deck for more than 2 years. I am playing The Ur-Dragon, strategy is to ramp into big spell, or go wide with some changeling for early game play. Everyone seems okay with it.
I think I draw the best hand that I could have for the deck. I don’t have tutor in the deck.
Turn 1 - nothing Turn 2 - [[Three Visits]] Turn 3 - [[Cultivate]] Turn 4 - [[Hellkite Courser]], cheat [[The Ur-Dragon]] into play, swing, draw and put [[Omniscience]] into play, [[Lilliana’s Contract]] draws into more action after that.
The game pretty much ended at this point. Every one stay for one more round before concedes due to not finding answer to my board. We all moved on to the next game with no malice.
My question is if you have the opportunity to do such action, i.e becoming archenemy/ winning the game by turn 4 in casual pod, will you do it?
