I’m a freshman Computer Systems major, and the transition from high school to college has destroyed me. Because high school was easy for me, and I managed to get a 4.0 without studying, I never really learned time management skills. As a result, I’ve just been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of work, and I think I’m failing like every class except 1. I’m really bad at asking for help, and I’ve just been struggling. I feel like giving up, and I feel like a failure for struggling in my first semester. I know that it’s my fault that things are like this, but I just needed to vent.
