What would be a stereotype of your country which is actually true, but not in the way people think it is?

For germany “germans don’t have humour” is true, but not in the way that germans never laugh or never joke, which they do very often. The thing is, germans have an absolute horrible taste of humour and laugh about things normal people won’t. For example pubertal jokes about dicks and feces, thinking random equals funny or repeating the same joke for an endless amount of time, unironically thinking it becomes funnier with each repeat.
