Congratulations to Josh Saak of Boise for winning the Jeopardy! Champion Wildcard competition today. With the win, he earns a berth into the next Tournament of Champions.

I don’t know if anybody really follows Jeopardy! or thinks this is significant, but I think it’s a pretty big deal, myself. He is the most successful Jeopardy! champion from Idaho. (He was chosen for the Wildcard competition because on his original run, he lost by one clue to Matt Amodio, who went on to go on a super long Jeopardy! streak.)

Unfortunately, today’s game was mostly pre-empted by Biden’s speech, so you may not have seen today’s winning episode, even if you do normally watch it.
