Everyone (including myself) usually expects the worst from Akai Pro/inMusic support, but I actually had a great experience recently. I bought Air Delay Pro, which sounds amazing, but I ran into a serious issue: whenever I disconnected the MPC One from the internet I immediately lost access to Delay Pro. It acted as though I never bought the plugin to begin with. I was out for blood over this as I had just started taking my MPC outside the studio and was enjoying that workflow. After speaking with support for a couple of weeks, none of their troubleshooting tactics seemed to work, but the lead of their support team was kind enough to bless me with Jura for my troubles. Only issue was that Jura had the same issue! I didn’t know how to feel at that point. I stayed in touch with their team to further demonstrate the issue and, today, I check my email to find there was an update released. Sure enough, the Activation issue was on the release notes and after immediately firing up the One, I saw my problems were solved. Now, with Delay Pro, Jura, Flavor Pro and their newest (free) plugins, I feel on top of the world. There may be some hope for Akai after all…Happy Producing✌🏾
