I (31, M) just moved to Fort Collins from Canada, looking to meet some friends! I’m 31 years old, I’m a biologist, and love lots of things:

  • good food, cooking and trying new foods, learning about food, cocktails
  • hiking, camping, backpacking
  • flyfishing (mostly tenkara but I have western gear too), im hoping to get out since ot’s fall and the water is low so I can map out the bones of the rivers
  • going to try and do snowshoeing and crosscountry this winter
  • music, been a long time since I’ve been to a show but i loooove small venues and underground shit, also just sharing music too
  • i love dogs, honestly if you just want to go on walks or to the park with your dog im down haha, or if you need a dog sitter 🐶
  • swimming (i almost drowned ages ago, and have been learning, so this isnt super social but we could grab coffee or drinks afterwards)
  • books (i have like 400 books, mostly non-fiction, might be into a book club type thing)
  • science (im going to go to grad school to be a pollination biologist), love all kinds of science and plants and especially bees
  • also would be interested in learning about movies, stained glass, pottery, other fun creative stuff from someone

Honestly if you’re super passionate about something and willing to share that passion, that can be a great foundation for a friendship.
