I’m thinking about ditching my HUE bridge and migrating my HUE ligtbulbs directly to the HA. My motivations are one less device to have in my home network as well as recent push by HUE with the account requirements.

I’ve got Zigbee running on my HA Yellow and some Ikea stuff already running directly off of it. So as far as I know there shouldn’t be any big connection-related hiccups if I decide to do it.

Are there any other considerations that I should think about before I do it?

People who have done this before: Do you miss anything now? Were there any deal-breakers with your significant others after such a move?
