I have a amd fx6300 12gb ram and a amd rx 5708gb system. I have been for past few months using softwares that are available on Linux like vs codium, blender, davinci, gimp, libre office, etc to make my transition be smoother however I have recently learned that for my gpu there is no adrenaline software or a control panel.

I have been using the amd overlay for clips and videos for taking video notes and stuff, which used the gpu memory so pc did not ever slow down and saved them separately for each app I used automatically, even new ones.

I would like to use amd vsr for 1440p on my 1366x768 display which works very well on windows and for apps. And to have a few profiles for blender render (a little overclock on gpu and it’s memory) and games (a little underclock).

Do I have to find some alrenative applications and set ups and stuff for all those settings? Or is there and adrenaline software but I cannot find it… I have not installed any linux os yet but thinking of either installing Ubuntu or mint as suggested by youtube and forums…

I have seen people using something called wine to run anything windows os can maybe I can install adrenaline like that? But I see no guides on it anywhere not even images of adrenaline software inside linux so maybe not?..

I may try obs for my short video notes but

I would like to must have vsr for system wide and tuning profiles for applications, if possible in one program/script.

I may have to dualboot which is fine but not really a good solution…

Thanks for help, sorry if I am in wrong reddit thread in my mind all linux threads are similar
