I’m 23 and I just been told by a specialist I have severe ME/CFS. I was hospitalised this year due to severe symptoms and my doctor thought I was dying. At the hospital nothing showed up on any tests so they wanted me to go to a psychologist. She found no sign of a mental illness. Still the doctors from the hospital refused to believe it wasn’t mental since nothing showed up on tests and they wanted to put me in a psychiatric hospital. My doctor disagreed and sent me to another specialist that understood my symptoms… I’m happy and sad at the same time. I’m hoping to become better with time, and go back to moderate or mild one day. Thank you for listening. I just needed to let it out since crying will make me 10x worse: I rather write this to let my feelings out.
