What car feels faster than it really is?
Most of us that have been messing with cars for a long time know very well that some fast cars don’t feel *that* fast and some entry level performance cars feel much faster than they really are, what is your experience with this?
My personal experience is when I owned a VW MK6 Golf R a few years ago, only had bolt ons and a tune but 300whp AWD turbo with a DSG feels pretty intense when you’re using 4k launch control, it felt especially fast at non-jail speeds than some of the significantly faster and more powerful cars I’ve driven/been in.
Another funny one is the my experience driving a 2012~ V6 3.5 Toyota Camry, I never realise how fast 270hp with a 6 speed auto feels when you’re just expecting the car to drive like a typical family sedan.
