Erasmus student here… dont know if this is the right subreddit but…i live in lisbon and i have a flatmate who owns a bar in cais de sodre area, sometimes i go to the bar for a beer or 2 and he never wants me to pay… like never

He also invited me to dinner in his house this weekend, i rejected

I dont know if this is normal portuguese “behavior” and i dont want to come across rude towards him, so i dont know what to do here :/
