Right now companies are racing to bring AI into their applications, but in a few years such work may be unnecessary. Now that GPT-4V has vision, it will soon be able to help with any application at expert level so long as it has access to the documentation. Rather than integrating AI into the application, GPT will be a separate application that’s given permission to view screen and take control, much like an IT person would do on Skype. In other words, suppose you have a web application that doesn’t have AI integrated into their software, so long as GPT can see your screen and read the documentation for said application, it will be able to act as an assistant - no work needed from those who created the web application.
