Can we have a forced flair on people that write an essay that gets upvoted only for it turn out to be wrong? This would help indicate if someone is a serial essay writer farming upvotes without having to actually read their entire post.
Its good that people are trying to make the game better, but I’m tired of the posts that are pure speculation backed up with backyard experiments that have inconsistent assumptions. Their conclusions do more harm then good; riling up people for upvotes and potentially wasting dev time if valve actually ends up looking into it.
TLDR: Put your money where your mouth is and bear the mark of shame if you mislead people, whether intentionally or due to incompetence.
