After 13 years of Android, I bought and switched to iPhone 15 Pro. I naively selected SMS for migration along side other data using Move to iOS app. 

Big mistake.

I had, over the past 13 years, accumulated over 30,000 SMS. Upon importing, iOS thought ALL of those are new messages and started firing notifications for each of them. 

I tried restarting twice, did an update. Still after restart in few minutes it would resume sending me notifications.

My phone would heat up like crazy, too hot to be able to hold, lag a lot and just keep firing those notifications. 

It kept sending notification all night until next day.
