So this is as the title said. I work for a multi billion dollar company here in the US. Lately covid has been going around and my company decided they didn’t like that, so naturaly they changed their policy so any sick time " even with a doctors note" is unexcused. They use a point system for teminataion. An entire shift of over 30 people have caught covid but they are expected to work. I wanted to go get tested because I was getting sick and told my boss that however it’s gotten to the point so many people are sick that she said if I have covid and I take time off for it I will be terminated. Because company policy states that i have to take a full week off if i have it. But again unexcused. And process to tell me I just don’t want to work. They have already fired some one on the 3rd shift. Is there anything I can do to argue this nonsense without getting fired? Anyone have any similar experiences or potential answers
