Anyone else surprised “Episodes” isn’t talked about more? I finished it recently and found it’s definitely one of the better sitcoms to have aired wtihin the past decade in my opinion.

Matt LeBlanc playing himself and poking fun at his past mistakes, particularly “Joey” - and the entire self-sabotaging sthick his character had, was really fun and the entire meta commentary about studios interfering with writers was pulled off really well.

The side minor characters were also really memorable, particularly Daisy Haggard’s character who was absolutely hilaroius.

The comedy of this show felt like a mix between British and American sitcoms, which makes sense I guess because two of the main characters in this show are indeed British.

Speaking of, the chemistry between Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan was fantastic. Bev and Sean is probably one of the most healthy sitcom couples I have ever seen, their relationship funny and precious and this is despite the fact that there was literal infedility involved.

Overall I just can’t believe this show isn’t talked about more, if you liked friends you’re going to love this despite it having an extremely different type of humour.
