Hello again Nano community. Sorry for this news but after 6 years of running a node and numerous services, I have decided to shut down. I’ve moved on elsewhere and can no longer maintain my Nano servers. To be fair, I have not been part of the project for years, just kept running things out of courtesy. I don’t want any donations, it will not change the decision.

I left a notice on nanoticker.info and the following will shut down along with the server which has been scheduled for termination in mid-Feb 2024:

• Nanoticker node: Current voting weight of 1,177,962 Nano. Please find and delegate elsewhere.
• Public nanos.cc RPC endpoint. Will effect nault.cc endpoint, the Unreal Nano game, all visualizers listed on nanos.cc, TixWallet, and if anyone using the RPC or websocket elsewhere.
• The NanoTicker performance monitor

What will stay alive:

• All public repos at (feel free to fork)
• Nault (but with one less backend node to choose from)
• Nano Keytools: (but without a backend node for some tools)
• The nanos.cc domain (for now)
• Anything I run off Github pages (but without a node)

It’s been a journey. I’ve started in the old Raiblocks days and been a developer, article writer, video contributor, moderator and community administrator along the way. I wish you all the best and success with Nano. Maybe we meet again. If you are currently sponsoring my Github for running the node, feel free to cancel it.

Ps: Have a listen to the sound of Nano for the last time (unless someone forks it). It’s a very old project and to my surprise, it was still running!
