This is sad to write but it is time for this project to finally sunset - It has been running for nearly 3 years as of this year and I had a great pleasure being able to have the experiences I’ve had with it along with the kind people of this community I’ve met since first learning about raiblocks. I am unfortunately no longer able to maintain or update this project and sad to do this but seems logical at this point. For those that don’t know, I am terrible at programming yet this project ran for nearly 3 years so don’t let that stop you if you think you have an idea and want to go with it!

I am thinking of doing one last giveaway at a future or soon to be announced date as a way of one last time helping this network gain more awareness! If you are interested in picking up the project or even taking the domain (currently about ~100 users daily), feel free to as the domain will also be released and everything is open-source on github. This was a non-profit project where I had the immense pleasure of learning about different areas of development and the components involved in the nano network which was very fulfilling while at the same time being able to experience a truly peer 2 peer digital currency.

In these 3 years, this project has been visited by hundreds of thousands of users. The faucet has made payouts to more than 80k unique users (unique IP non-proxies) and has been a PR for some time. I am immensely proud of this and greatly appreciate all the help and support I’ve received over the years from some people that I’ve truly enjoyed learning about and building relationships with on a personal level.
