Why does Bass Amp typically has 4 ohms output, but Guitar Amp has 8 ohms output?
Note that I know you can plug a higher ohm speaker (eg 8 ohm into 4 ohm), but you will lose effective power output; and conversely, putting a lower ohm speaker into the amp will blow the amp.
