I have a master’s degree but I only attended college for a grand total of 3 years instead of the 5 years typically required for a master’s.

How is this possible, you ask? I simply completed an associate’s degree and then enrolled in a master’s program (from the same college) where the only requirement was to have any undergraduate degree in a relevant field.

The college has changed their admissions standards now and they have explicitly stated that a bachelor’s degree is required, but that was after I was accepted into the program.

That college has lost out on over $60,000 in tuition, and a bank has lost out on a lot of interest, all because of a technicality.
