Title. Want to get some Airpods Pro 2 (preferably new, because gross), but the 2023 USB-C model requires iOS 17 or 80% of the features will not work.

Supposedly the Pro 2 Lightning ones work fine on 16, but they were discontinued a few months ago. I visited 4 different stores, and no one had these old models in stock, and eBay / FB Marketplace is majority fakes and scams :(

Unless someone is able to get PodsGrant working for these, it doesn’t work on this new model.

EDIT: Apparently the refurbs came back in stock at Apple.com shortly after making this post lol. It says 2022 model and the pics have a lightning port, so these should be the right ones.

Just ordered a set, I will update when they get here on if they are in fact the Lightning model or if they send USB-C ones instead.
