This video covers our dependence on natural gas and its impact on the climate. Natural gas is extremely important to civilization: we would not be able to feed most of the population without it via the Haber-Bosch process to create fertilizer, the energy and heating it provides, etc. However natural gas also demonstrates reasons why we are doomed to collapse, as the video describes: emissions and sometimes large leaks are historically unreported (rightfully so or stakeholders wouldn’t make that sweet $$$!), its difficult to contain leading to emissions across the supply chain, its far worse for the climate, it receives a lot of special treatment politically, etc
Climate Town is an awesome youtube channel, highly recommend it! One of the easiest to digest, covers meaningful topics with engaging content, and Rollie is a great communicator
