I went out for a maintenance walk along a 14 cache trail I set out last summer as a few were getting some DNFs. My tally for the day:

• 10 caches were fine.
• 1 cache was waterlogged (not sure why as there are 3 others of this type and the rest were fine).
• 3 were missing of which I had the right container type to replace 1.
• I found a container close to one of my caches which had been lost and archived in 2010
• I found a container that has been missing (and archived) for 6 months out in the open, less than a metre from its original place. A location I’ve searched dozens of times!

Now I need to find the original owner of 1 container and think of somewhere new for my container!
