How have I just heard of this game?? Coming from WoW, this game has EVERY single annoying thing about WoW patched up in the best way possible. I’ve played other alternatives like FFXIV, and none can compare to this one.

  • I’ve always hated having 36 different buttons to press for each class, but I just accepted it because I thought it was necessary for MMORPGs to introduce any difficulty. This game shows that you can simplify all of that, AND introduce the difficulty through faster-paced combat and better mechanics, which is the far superior and way more fun to play
  • Horizontal progression was the type of gameplay that I had never heard of before and had zero clue I wanted…but it’s absolutely amazing, it makes combat more focused on your actual skill, rather than just “oh my item level is high enough, great, I win! oh it’s not? well then more endless grind for me!”
  • The UI is so, so simple and beautiful, and yet has everything you need…even just little details, like the world map lining up in design with the minimap (in WoW the world map and minimap look completely different which can get confusing for exploring new areas), everything’s just so well-designed
  • I’m on the free trial right now, but just knowing that if/when I purchase this game, I won’t have to commit to a subscription, relieves me of so much stress. No month+ long commitment and then regretting the sub when I’m busy that month and can barely play.
  • I’m playing on warrior right now and it seems like there aren’t a million annoying resource bars to manage, whereas for many classes in WoW, you legit have to manage two resource bars simultaneously at all times. This type of complexity isn’t necessarily fun…but I also just accepted it as a way to introduce difficulty, but this game shows that it isn’t necessary

I will admit that I only just started this so I may be a bit starry eyed, but this genuinely seems like the game I’ve been looking for since forever. THANK YOU to the makers of this game for creating this!
