But not how you expect it
Setup : TS011F (chinese zigbee plug, rated for 3600w) with Z2M / 1400w electric heater
At 1am, the temperature dropped below 17°C, the generic thermostat turned on the plug but the plug did not report the ON state. When the temperature went above 19°C, the thermostat had no plug to turn off, since it was “already off”.
You see where this is going, 7 hours later I wake up with temperature higher than the maximum we get during summer : 27°C.
I was able to turn it off again by toggling it twice.
I’m pretty sure I lost weight due to sweat and I’ll lose hair trying to figure out how to make sure it does not happen anymore. This happens very short of 3 years without any smart home incident. What a shame.
