Long story short, I need to learn to be better when it comes to cooking for me and for my wife. I have my reasons, some excuses, some true reasons, why I haven’t made the effort or can’t make the effort to learn how to be creative. More specifically, I want to be able to on a whim look at our pantry/fridge and be able to come up with something. If it’s not a recipe, my mind just goes numb and can’t figure anything out. It can be simple stuff, but there’s the stipulation that one of us is vegetarian and the other is not. That’s hardly an excuse or anything, as I’m aware most things can be made with the meat separately. I’m tired of letting my wife down, of letting my body down by eating nothing but convenience food, and of just feeling like a 12 year old about to be 30 in the kitchen.
Please help.
