Have you ever noticed how sometimes ice from your freezer has that weird aftertaste even though your water is clean and the filters are clean?

I noticed that the freezer blows cold air directly at the ice maker and I realized it’s probably that air that’s making the ice taste funky. I put a small bag of activated charcoal on the top shelf of the freezer and the bad taste went away.
