I know I’m not the first person to vent about this, but I just don’t know how this situation gets better. My roommate and I started looking at apartments at the beginning of the month. We’ve found listings that were just put on the market 1 day, we put in for a tour, submit our applications and documents THAT SAME DAY OF THE TOUR, and the realtors telling us that somebody beat us to it. It feels so demoralizing and such a gut punch. We are two well off roommates making good income (over 130K combined), no pets, credit scores of over 770. I just feel like I’m at my wits end but I know we’re not the only people going through this. I wish i could just move to another city, but my job requires me in NYC. End rant lol
