MY GF was out with some friends and she said some guy approached her in a friendly manner, kind of like he was drunk, and asked for a high-five. He then tried to come in close for a hug, but my GF shut him down.

Then about 45 minutes later, her phone began showing a message saying that the phone was stolen and her FaceID wasn’t working. Luckily, the Apple Store was a few minutes away and they confirmed there was a hack, which basically screwed up the phone. They were able to do a reset and she got a notice from her bank that there was Zelle transaction for $1100. She got in touch with them to file a dispute and her phone is back up and running, but wondered if anyone heard about a similar kind of hack.
