I enjoyed rlcraft, but all the stupid stuff that can happen without you having a way to deal with it can get annoying

Every other modpack I’ve tried so far is waaaay too easy to craft op armor and make a really strong weapon in the first hour, and as someone who I’d still relatively new to playing modded I was wondering if there’s a modpack that adds challenge to the game, but doesn’t randomly punish you for no reason.
