In the episode with the memory parasites, the first memory with poopy butthole wasn’t necessarily positive until the butler saved them. I know it’s shameful I just now realized that, but I can def understand why beth assumed mr.poopybutthole was a parasite if that was the only memory she shared of him which in her mind, would have counted as a positive memory despite being stuck in an elevator at the time.
